The key to our success is providing timely high quality engineering services for MEP and Fire Protection systems that are safe, efficient, maintainable, functional, durable and quiet. We spend a lot of time in the field, measuring, observing, documenting, getting our hands dirty by poking our heads above ceilings, in chases, and crawling through crawl spaces to fully understand existing systems. Which results in virtually eliminating any "surprises" and hence, change orders. We provide large firm deliverables at the small firm price; as well as the capability and experience to execute highly complex projects that are cost effective.
A. Evaluation and clear understanding of the big picture, project scope and schedule.
B. Implementing 8 key laboratory design points:
2. Energy Saving Design
3. Flexible and Expandable lab design
4. Sustainable Design
5. Designing Functional labs, controls, and MEP systems
6. Understanding the science and facility operations and implementing the owner's design standards.
7. Understanding the existing facility's system
8. Create efficient work flow processes
C. Planning of project design phase tasks and manpower needs to match project schedule requirements
Our approach to project planning and design involves a methodical process of discerning the requirements of administration, principle researchers, end users, Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S), operations, maintenance, and the particular science being researched in order to identify the appropriate mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection unique requirements. We do this by following our 130 page QAQC design manual which we have developed outlining our approach (copy available upon request). We believe the success of any project lies in the proactive planning of a project and then the disciplined implementation of that plan. One of our mottos here at Trak Engineering is " If you fail to plan, then you plan to fail."
Our mission is to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public while meeting client's needs, budgets and project schedule. We believe it is important to design the most energy efficient, reliable and sustainable facilities to reduce the client/owner's operating costs while at the same time protecting the environment.
We strive to build and foster trusting relationships with our clients and build a long lasting partnership that can put our clients on "Trak" to meet future goals. We have a commitment for client satisfaction and determine what our client wants by listening to their needs and goals. By conducting business with our clients a team approach, we help one another in
